WHERE WE’RE STAYING
Grand Hotel Tritone is one of the few family-run hotels along the Amalfi Coast, offering an authentic experience that’s deeply rooted in history. It’s also one of the only properties along the coast with direct beach access, in addition to swimming pools. All of our travelers will stay in rooms that include sea views of the sparkling coastline.
The location of this property is perfectly positioned between the towns of Positano and Amalfi. This provides you with convenience and easy access when you want to pop into town to explore, while still having an escape to retreat back to when you need a break from crowds.
Our team has spent time at this hotel and has direct relationships with the staff to ensure our guests will enjoy their experience and be well taken care of!

Not all destinations are well suited for a group of 20+ women. That’s why we launched this category of trips: to provide access to any destination in the world!
Atlas Adventures Privé trips are designed for ~12-14 people, providing a more intimate & exclusive experience. You’ll still be able to enjoy all the usual benefits of Atlas Adventures: fun experiences, meaningful connections & more intentional travel. Our hope is that this category not only allows us to expand the range of destinations we visit, but also to create a space for those who feel more comfortable traveling in a smaller group

MEET YOUR HOST
Sarah Kate, one of our Atlas trip planners, is based in Napoli & fluent in speaking the local language. She has spent over a decade in Italy, making her incredibly knowledgable about the culture, customs, cuisine & life in general. With the Amalfi Coast in her backyard, she knows this region like the back of her hand and has a passion for sharing this beautiful region with others!
Sarah Kate also has an extensive background in the wine industry & is a certified sommelier. You can count on her to pick the perfect pairing, educate on local varietals & provide general insight on viticulture overall.
Along with the rest of the Atlas team, Sarah Kate prides herself in creating authentic travel experiences that showcase the best of local culture, food & memorable experiences. She’s hosted multiple Atlas trips to Italy and is so excited to once again combine her passion for travel and love for the country she calls home!
*Sarah Kate will be the primary host. Other Atlas team members will attend supplementally.

*We will also be offering trip extensions to Capri, Ischia or Naples at the end of the trip for those who want to continue on to see more with other travelers! More details will be provided upon registration, but that extension will be at an additional cost.

UNIQUE CONSIDERATIONS FOR THIS TRIP TO AMALFI COAST
You’re happy to travel by car, plane or boat. This trip will require flights, van transfers (along very windy roads!) and boat rides. Travelers should be comfortable with all of these transportation methods, bring anti-nausea medication as needed and notify the team in advance of any concerns for any transportation method.
You’re prepared for all types of weather. While we’ve selected this time of year because it traditionally offers some of the best weather of the year, we obviously can’t control the forecast. Travelers should be prepared to have a great time for a variety of different activities— rain or shine!
You’re extremely flexible & willing to roll with the punches. In addition to uncertainty around weather, things like traffic or other travel faux pas are always possible. The Atlas team is always working with your best interest in mind and simply asks for patience & positive attitudes at all times.
You’re aware that Amalfi Coast is a popular destination. We are specifically traveling in a smaller group because crowds are unavoidable in this destination. We’re confident in our team’s knowledge of the local landscape to build our itinerary accordingly, but if you’re claustrophobic and crowd-avoidant you’ll need to adjust expectations or possibly reconsider.
You’re comfortable with stairs. The Amalfi Coast has a geographic landscape that grows vertically, which means plenty of stairs and hills. Travelers should be physically comfortable with this terrain.
You’re comfortable with heights. As mentioned above, this area is quite hilly. Excursions and other activities can take place climbing to a higher altitude than you may be used to everyday.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If this trip needs to be cancelled for any global health reasons (see below) we will reschedule:
- Border closures prohibiting non-residents travel in /out of destination country
- Mandatory quarantine upon arrival to destination country
For any other cancellations, the Atlas Adventures standard cancellation policy can be viewed HERE. Travelers who want the option to cancel for personal reasons outside of the above are advised to purchase additional travel insurance (which we can help you navigate!)
