“PARIS LIKE A LOCAL”
If you’re actively planning a trip to Paris, hope to visit someday or you’re simply craving travel during our current environment, this hour-long course is for you!
French and American culture have some stark differences, but that doesn’t have to be a stumbling block to enjoy your time in Paris. I’m very excited to co-teach this course on doing “Paris Like a Local” with my fellow Francophile, Rebecca from The Everyday Parisian!
During this course, we’ll walk you through some key elements of understanding French culture, which tourist traps you should avoid (and which popular attractions are worth the hype). We’ll also each be sharing a few of our local favorites we’ve discovered over the years spending extensive time there.
To make an evening of it, we’ll be eating + drinking some of our French favorites as well! While any French wine will do, I’d recommend enjoying something from Champagne or the Loire Valley, as those regions are closest to Paris geographically. Pair your Champagne with a brie or your Cabernet Franc with a Camembert. And if you feel like taking things a step farther? Here is Rebecca’s recipe for gougères (which pair lovely with a glass of bubbly!)
COST : $25 (provides you access to 1 device, meaning you may tune in alone or whoever you are quarantined with!)

NOTE: This will be a live video class, and I will also share slides and other visuals to help along the way. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions via chat, so be sure to fire away!
